Announcing Printing Press
Printing Press is a program for quickly creating both prototypes and print-ready cards for card and board games.
The program lets you quickly create fully-customizable cards and allows you to make entirely new, print-ready cards in seconds.
It has a flexible template maker so you can easily test new designs and see how it looks with all of your cards. You can quickly mock up a prototype template to test new game ideas, or create a full layout for printing and selling. Export your cards either as individual images or full pages for printing.
You can pick up a free trial for Windows at http://www.archrival.tech/.
The program has a quick-start guide here: http://www.archrival.tech/PrintingPress/GettingStarted/.
I'd be more than happy to hear your feedback about how it works for you, or any features you'd like to see. Please contact me at email@example.com.
Just to post a quick first impression.
Haven't been able to delve deep into it.
For my needs for generating prototypes this seems
like it will help tremendously.
I subscribed to InDesign for it's MergeData function,
but it is not easy for me to figure out.
Likewise NanDeck was a struggle for me.
This one seems like a good simple (relatively)
2 week trial, so I'll test it for a bit and if good
for the long haul it is only $10.
So an early thumbs up and worth a demo.
Thanks for the feedback, John!
After you're done evaluating it, I'd love to hear your thoughts, regardless of whether or not you decide to go for the full version.
