Just recently discovered this contest, so I'm starting things a bit late.

Briefcase

Designer: Jacob Schaub

Overview: Briefcase is a game of getting rich or exploding trying for 3 to 6 players. During the game, players will offer deals to other players using an "I split, you choose" mechanic. However, they must be careful because their opponents may be trying to trick them into having to deal with a dead body, or worse, a bomb!

Game Length: Estimated 10-20 minutes

Components:

- 1 Mint Tin Briefcase
- 8 Mini Player Screens
- 10 Cash Stacks (Green Cubes)
- 8 Gold Bars (Gold Cubes)
- 3 Pieces of Art (Black Cubes)
- 1 Bomb (6 Sided Die)
- 1 Dead Body (Green Meeple)
- 1 Gun (Red Catan City)
- 1 Tool Box (Orange Catan House)

Typo or artifact from previous iterations?

Quote:
The Dead Body is worth -$10 dollars at the end of the game unless you are the Investigator.

There is no investigator listed in the rules? There is though the Snoop? And there is an Investigator screen?

Looks like the rat and the investigator are the same person just different names.

Hi Jacob,

There are a couple of typos I spotted on the mini-screens:

The Don - "You can can demand..." - two 'can's

The Snoop - 'corretly' should read 'correctly', and a 't' after the full stop/period at the end of the sentence.

There's also inconsistency on whether or not you end the mini-screen sentences with a full stop/period.

Fun game
I really like how you use the tin as a brief case.

Question
Do people getting offered the brief case have to take it?

Recommendation
Also if the money was all just multiplied by 100 or 1000 so were things say $1 say $100 instead so it sounds more reasonable to the amount the things or worth. It doesn't change the game at all but it makes getting money more fun.

Keep up the good work!
