On the Saturdays of January 27th and March 24, 2007,
The Garden Church in Lansdowne
will be hosting their winter and spring Game Days -
board games, CCGs, war games, RPGs and more,
for children of all ages - and grownups as well !
These events will run from 10 AM to 9 PM, at The Garden Church,
which is located at 82 North Lansdowne Avenue,
at the corner of Stratford Ave, in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania,
- across Lansdowne Ave. from the WaWa,
easily accessible by auto or public transit, for directions see:
If you'd like to run a demonstration game, tournament,
RPG campaign, or miniatures battle,
please let us know what you'll need in table space, etc.
If we can fit you in, we will
and we'll add the news to our future announcements.
There will be no admission charge,
though contributions to help cover
the church's lighting and heating expenses, etc,
will be welcome

If enough people come and play,
we hope that we can make these GameDays
a regularly scheduled event,
and bring people together,
from Delaware County and the whole Philadelphia metro area,
for friendly competition, fellowship and fun.

Crap. here I was all excited, and they went and Made Pennsylvania too darn big.
Maybe a 51st State: East Pennsylvania. You'd be the only "East" State... Yes, I do realize the Philadelphia guys were Pennsylvania first before we cleared some trees out over here, but West Pennsylvania just won't go over around here. Too much University of Pittsburgh v WVU history to make that sound like a good idea.
Have fun over on your end of the turnpike. Be a sport and Waive at us when you're driving to Ohio if ever you do.
