Do Huge ships start full of energy? I cant find the rule, I know I must be missing it somewhere.

8. Players assign Energy tokens to each of their Huge ships and their equipped secondary weapons up to their respective energy limits.

If playing one of the Huge Ship Missions, the mission should outline that.

If playing a epic match with huge ships, the FFG Tournament rules say you start with full energy. Page 3 bullet #8:

edit: ninjad and would also like to add that it's waaaaay better to start them with Energy than to slowly build it up.

I just noticed the rules you linked are out of date. It looks like the bit about the secondary weapons starting with energy is in the newer edition linked in the previous post! I did not know that, so epic ships just got way better in my mind.

for casual play: start with no energy

for tournament play: start with full energy

for missions: depends on the mission

Oops! Fixed that.

And even in casual play you can start them with full energy. Why? Because it's more fun. My opinion, of course.
