How to run your Epic tournament:

Demo Epic to your customers and let them know about the event. Be sure to tell them everyone in the tournament will be a new player just like them.

Set up:

Each Epic game can support 4 players.

At the beginning of the event:

Open your Epic games.

Give each player 2 tokens (one Wolf/Zombie and one Demon/Human). Note that players can use scraps of player, card sleeves, coins or the like as extra tokens when they need more.

Shuffle the 120 playing cards and give 30 random cards to each player. That is that player’s deck.

Running the event

· This event will be 3 rounds.

· Each round players will play a one-game match against a single opponent.

· We recommend letting players play till everyone is finished. If you need to have a time limit, we recommend 40 minutes, then players finish the turn they are on, their opponent plays one more turn, and then the player with the most health wins (if they are tied in health, the player who would take the next turn wins).

· Each round pair players against a random opponent with the same win-loss record as them. (Feel free to run this event by hand or using any tournament software you like).

· During round 1 give each player in the event the “Teleport” promo card. Let them know this is NOT for use in their tournament deck.

· Each round choose a random player to receive the “Elder Greatwrurm” promo card as a door prize. . Let them know this is NOT for use in their tournament deck.

· When the 3 rounds are complete, give each player who won all 3 rounds an “Elder Greatwurm” promo card. (If you had 32 players, 4 players should go 3-0.) Give the remaining Elder Greatwurm to the judge.

· At the end of the event players keep their 30-card decks and tokens.
