I got the expansion with the second printing upgrade cards at SPIEL15 last weekend and have now replaced the base game cards with the upgraded cards.

However, I accidentally mixed in in both Ring of Strange Possibilities and set both Ridiculous Healing Orb aside. Now I don't know which Ring and which Orb is the new one, and which the old one. Can someone tell me which Ring of Strange Possibilities is the new one, and which Riciculous Healing Orb is the new one?

I also found the ability card "Energize" in the replacement card stack, but I didn't find an old "Energize" ability card.
Is this a new ability? Or was I missing this card before?

I replaced magic missiles with energize, as they had the same art, and part of the text is identical.

The new card for ring of strange possibilities has 'use: gain 1 extra die' added.

The new ridiculous healing orb card says 'you may ignore being surrounded when using healing abilities' and 'use: a target of your healing ability is healed for an additional 1 HP'

Many thanks, I replaced the cards properly now.

Magic Missiles and Energize also have pretty much the same effect, it was probably renamed to avoid thinking of it as a magic attack (like the D&D spell).

Hey guys, I made a huuuuuge mistake. I was tired and only checked the rules on how to integrate the expansion with the base game, but I totally forgot that I also had to replace the cards from the base game with those from the upgrade kit. Now I have a ton of cards for which I don't know if they're the old or the upgraded version. I could really use your help with this ... cry

I will post all the cards that I have found (I think I've figured a few out myself) and I'll try to post a snippet of text so that it's easy to distinguish both. I would be forever grateful if someone would check these. You could then simply quote my post and format the correct card so that it's bold. This way you don't have to write so much.

Well, here I go:

Starting abilities General:
Boast: "After damage" or "After dealing damage"
Panic attack: Initative enabled or not
Rainbow blast: 1 or 2 charges
Rush In: "Perform a move" or "Perform a move adjacent"

Starting abilities Ranger:
Dodge: "After the attack" or "You are pushed back"

Starting abilities Mage:
Spellbook: 1 or 2 charges

Starting abilities Rogue:

Oh, and one question concerning a card from the "Heart of Darkness (Boss AI)" Deck: There's a card with "Spawn - Mind Flay - Shatter Mind" and one with an additional "Personality disorder" at the end. Are both cards supposed to be in the deck or is one of them an updated one?

I would say both are supposed to be in the deck as this is a new enemy introduced with the expansion. I haven't read the rulebook, but as long as it doesn't mention anything like that it should be in the deck. It's not unusual to have enemy cards with the same title and slightly different effects.

Are there more changes on the 2nd edition cards as the ones highlighted?
I'm still waiting for my copy to arrive and might update the FAQ with any changes made that affect previous (1st edition) Q&As.
