My concept of the undead is not slow and shambling. For the skeletons, think of the classic scene from Jason and the Argonauts.

As for the zombies don’t think of Dawn of the Dead, think of Army of Darkness, and 28 Days. Yeah……fast zombies.

As for the spirits, think of the army of the damned swarming off the boats in The Return of the King………only without the invincible part.

My mental image of the Dread Knights is a combination of Elric and the armored ring wraiths from Return of the King. I think any 15mm Dark Elves or Chaos Warrior figs would work.

Now after reading those you may have a little better understanding of how I ment for these to work.

Wow.. nice work! You really spent a lot of time thinking about this and then actually presenting it!

Now if only there were a bunch of unpainted miniatures to accompany the paperwork...

There are metal figures for all of these troop types, you just need to look.

Where do I find the stats on the swarm of spiders, undead beast and balrogg?

Very nice work, btw. Very impressive.

I find this all very impressive, and I am tempted to build my own.

However if DoW were to subsequently bring out their own undead expansion it would be much more acceptable and official. I'll wait, I think.

Keep up the good work.

And what about weapons and movements? They are treated has infantry I guess?

Great ideas & work!

For simpler resolution I suggest undead take a hit with every flag rolled against them after one, not every two after one. Subtle change but I think much easier to resolve. Will end up in units cutting through skeltons (once you add the sword and shield kills) but that may be to theme.

Option: in several games, skeletons are resistant to non-bludgeoning damage because they're bones. Why not let every flag after the first result in a kill ... but shield/sword results are IGNORED?
