Looks nice. And great to see that Hypnosis has been toned down (reveals region now not exact space).

This alone makes it worth buying for me. Can't wait to see how combat works.

I also notice that only Mina can play it, so you need to get it to her.

Should't be hard given Van Helsing's ability to trade long distance.

Not hard mechanically, but consider. In 2nd edition anyone could draw the card and play it on Mina (or other bitten hunter) who then gets a normal turn if the roll is successful.

Now if Seward or Godalming gets the card, Van Helsing needs an action to get the card himself, then another action to get it to Mina, who needs an action herself to play it for an inferior effect to 2e and after all that she is delayed into the bargain (not sure what that means in this game, but I'd guess at lose next action).

Added to that Mina needs to be in the same city as another hunter and it looks like the card is considerably weaker than the previous version.

all these previews coming out pretty rapid fire I'm betting means it's almost off the boat.

I'm glad it is toned down. I hope most of the cards will, to avoid wild swings and it indeed looks like the direction they are going.

Given there are multiple ways for Hunters to get rid of Drac's events, I also suspect they might be stronger, then they used to be (and it seems so, indeed). Since in Ed2 Drac had to discard a lot, it also makes sense to me.

With seeing more and more events, requiring action to play, the action system looks brilliant, with actions being a resource to manage - looks like a direction FFG is generally going (see Eldritch Horror, arguably reincarnation of Arkham Horror).
