Hello, I just finished playing case 0, which was a great detective experience. I also see that provided I take the time to type all the clues, it would be very easy to implement in PBF. It would be a little easier than in RL, since people would have access to the entirety of the text and would not have to take notes, but it shouldn't hamper the experience, I think.

Would people be interested ? Be aware that this would spoil you one of the 13 cases included in the game.

Yes, I would be interested.
But are you aware, that if you type all the clues, you can't play yourself? Maybe you could scan the cards without looking at them, though.

Ok, so there seems to be interest. So first, I need to take the time to type everything down (which will probably take me some time). Then I'll inform you when I'm ready and open a thread in the appropriate place.

Let's see first how this one PBF ends and what the players think about it. But it is very possible that I'll start a new session of case 0 afterwards.

In fact if other people are interested in playing this in PBF, please speak up. If there is enough interest, I might start another game before the current one ends.

And if you want me to host case nº1 for you to participate on it that can be arranged since I already played it.

I'd be interested. But you have to tell me something about the frequency of play - I'd have to see if I can make the commitment.

And the rules, but I guess that I can download them from this site.

The more time people take to play, the more the game will drag. So a fast answer will be appreciated. That said, it is understandable that people aren't always in front of BGG (especially when players are from different time zones).

What I did in the current game is:
- for the visiting phase, which needs to be done in turn order, I send a geekmail to the player whose turn it it, and then another one every 12 hours until I get an answer (every 24 hours during week-ends). There is no time limit enforced (but I think it would be nice if the delay never reached that 12 hour limit, requiring me to send reminders).

- for deciding if a Police token will be used (which doesn't need to be in turn order), a 24 hour limit is put in place. If no answer is given then the answer is supposed to be no.

Also, a sum-up of the rules and a link to the rulebook pdf, is in the first page of the PBG thread.
