I'm moving to the St. John's area in the new year and am looking for a group or a few people to do some table top and board games... I'll play anything but here's what I have so far:

Star Wars armada
Robotech tactics
Dreadball

Kemet - board game based in ancient Egypt
Catan
Ticket to ride
Axis and allies
Fortress America - original release

Plus looking at getting Star Trek attack wing.

Looking forward to getting good gaming and tournaments in.

Cheers

There are three regular public game groups I know of:

The St. John's Games Club meets weekend afternoons in members' homes. That one is semiprivate but I think new blood is welcome.

The MUN Tabletop Games Club meets Wednesday evenings in the University Centre or the Chemistry building. Check their Facebook group for details.

Midgard Gaming in Mount Pearl has boardgame night Saturdays, they have a few store games to borrow as well. People can also drop in / arrange games at other times.

I think I've only seen Warhammer and X-Wing played, among miniatures games.

Midgard sometimes runs boardgame tournaments but not often.

I'd definitely like to try Kemet and Fortress America sometime!

When I get there, I'll post again to set something up, maybe even start a new club?

Update, didn't go for Star Trek, but was introduced to Malifaux, check it out online, it's awesome...
