I was a backer of SDE:FK. Any chance there is a German translation for that?

Thanks Joe, my bad. You are right, the rules are for SDE1 and therefore nothing I can use for SDK:FK. I was in a rush and didn't notice it. All I saw was "Essen" and I immediately thought of Essen 2015. The Reference sheet at least is a great start.

I was looking for the German upgrade pack (cards & rules) from Ulisses Games. Their website lists these as coming but it is not yet possible to order them.

No official information, but my guesses: $40-50 for the level box, $50-60 for SDE2, $40-70 for Legends (depends on how many map pieces, figures, book binding).

I would concur with this. Seems solid estimates based on their current pricing.

Say, are these backer pins physical items, or just the usual virtual things?

In addition to our normal stretch goals we will also be unlocking one brand new adventure every single day! Most of the adventures are for your Heroes and will be digital downloads for you and your gaming group to enjoy. However, several adventures are up to the backers to accomplish. The community needs to complete the adventure to earn the reward. Once all of the adventures are unlocked, qualifying pledges will receive an incredible 21 FREE rewards just for backing!

The first adventure is an easy one—pledge! Backers who pledge during the campaign for the Explorer, Dark Consul, or Legendary pledges will get an awesome “Always Super” backer pin!

Great. Sometimes KS makes me wish I played Eurogames more... shake

There is a reason that there will be three chibi kickstarters running at the same time.

They have to get in and out. Before the Inferno overtakes them!devil

Rivals does look pretty great. I think they're underselling it; their minis are on par with SDE, perhaps better, the pastel colours they're using for the plastics are really tasteful, the game art in the KS has been completely revamped to match the style of the minis (apparently they're updating the page with the new art soon), and the game is a fixed $75 without a buttload of kinda-need-them add-ons.

Also, Chase is a bonafide "I could not make this game without Kickstarter" creator.

Can someone explain to me the difference between level box, 2.0, and legend? These are all different games in one kickstarter?

I really shouldn't back any more games this year but I can't pass up new SDE and AQ Inferno! I'd love to back Rivals too but i'm going to have to wait until retail. As it stands I have solidified my place on the couch. I gotta draw the line somewhere!

It's almost funded. But the cheapest level with stretch goals is $150 so I'm not interested anymore.

So... where is the value? They better have some amazing stretches later without stalls.

Retail costs
SDE 2.0 = 100$
Midnight tower = 60$
Frostbyte ravagers = 40$
Crown Guard = 40$
Princess hero = 13$

200$ pledge = 233$ of MSRP.

Cost retail from OLGS with 20% discount: 186$

At least in previous campaigns, the core pledge was at least 30% discount from retail at launch and less than 10% for paid add-ons.

We will see if they can increase the value via other people's money since there is absolutely nothing pulling my dollars from a 'discount' or 'exclusive' angle right now.

You're missing Legends in those formulas. Isn't that another 50$?

And yeah if it matches Forgotten King's stretch goals there'll be an ASSLOAD of additional stuff.

That is a box of paper with vaporware rules. If they can prove to me it is actual GOOD RULES and not a box of useless paper, then it has value. I need rules previews and gameplay before I attach value to it.

I doubt SDE V2.0 will be $100 either as that was the cost of the original box and this has less models in it. ~$70 seems more like it.

Also, what the hell is up with the Angry Bear. That dude has been lifting and looks silly as hell now!

Someone can explain me why I can't see the Forgotten King anywhere?
Is Legends compatible with Forgotten King?
If I only own Forgotten King, does it make sense to get the Legends?
