After the first nuked is dropped, add a white cube to the draw cup at the start of the Attack phase.

When the white cube is drawn, draw the next cube to see who is attacked.

The Attacked player randomly picks one of their company cards that is located in an area adjacent to a Sea Zone. Place a Kaiju miniature there. If there are any forces in the area, perform combat as if contesting a sea zone. (ie. keep rolling and removing units until the kaiju is defeated or all forces in the area are defeated.). The attack player may retreat between rounds; however, they do not get a re-enforcement move nor a counter-attack.

After the Kaiju is resolved, the Attacked player takes his turn.

If the kaiju is still there at the end of the Attack Phase, all Companies in the region are destroyed. Return destroyed companies to the Resource Deck. The Kaiju then returns to the depths of the ocean (ie. removed from the board)

The Kaiju counts as X+1 armies and having X ABMs where X is the number of mushroom clouds currently on the board.

I don't think that the Kaiju should remain on the map.

In the movies, most Kaiju attacks are shown to occur over the space of a few hours at most. Then the Kaiju slips back into the ocean only to resurface later in the story. It certainly doesn't stick around for the periods of time that a Supremacy turn represents.

It is also very rare for conventional weapons to actually hurt a Kaiju. At best, they annoy the Kaiju enough that it simply goes away for a while.

BTW, Kaiju is the generic term for Godzilla-type creatures. Godzilla is a trademarked term and is best avoided.
