I just wanted to go on record, that this is one, gorgeous, freaking map.

Just awesome.

Completely agree!

I did not think they could match the original Victory Games map but they not only did that, this one is better imo.

I hadn't realized it was gonna be mounted; had to use a dolly to get the game in the house!

Yeah, the map and everything else look very nice.

Yes, this is a box to keep handy, in case of intruders.

Of course, you might need to work out a bit, first.

No unboxing vid yet?? BGG, you disappoint me. More disappointed that I'm still awaiting my copy, though.

Too bad the counters are pretty ugly. Maybe they look better on the map.

Agree, it is one terrific looking Map, and being hard mounted a definite plus to me. The only very minor thing I noticed (which I can't imagine having any effect on play) is that all the state capitals are printed in uppercase, except for Richmond, Nashville, and Little Rock. Or maybe some reason for that?

I would very, very much like to see this same map - extended north and south - used in a brigade/regiment-level implementation of SPI's Invasion: America.

With new rationalizations for the situation and invaders, of course.

I believe those three capitals refused to pay their federal taxes.

I just received my copy yesterday and am really impressed with the production value -- top-shelf quality.

And I'm impressed so far with the design. I haven't played it yet, obviously, but I just confirms my view that a Simonitch game = auto-buy.

I'm looking forward to trying this game out.
