Thanks Mad Igor for sharing your first game with us. We imagine that playing it with the 1st edition in Spanish would have been more difficult.

For what I read you have understood the rule quite well. However, here you have some explanations:

Morale checks have to be done any time a unit is wounded, both at ranged or melee attacks. In case of a melee attack the morale check is done by the unit that received more wounds.

When doing a ranged attack we have to use events as if it were a melee attack. One at random and then both the attacker and the defender can play one more event from their hand.

We highly recommend not to put the unit cards inside a cover. They just move along the playing surface and they are quite ressistant so there is no problem at all.

The card 'Arenga' has two icons (the sword indicating that it applies to the attacker and the shield that indicates that it applies to the defender). When the event is played at random both bonuses apply to both players during the attack and the counterattack

Congratulations for the dice roll of the Romans and the events played!!!

The event 'General herido' applies if the unit with the general is wounded in that round. In this case we turn the general token upside down and leadership is reduced by one. Morale checks will also have a -1 penalty.

The Punic Phalanx has a life of 7. So after receiving 6 wounds she makes a moral check that will probably fail and become broken. Then she will counterattack with a -2 penalty and it is quite probable that she will be destroyed during the following round of combat.

At the beginning of a battle it is risky to charge with cavalry against infantry. Because the other player has many event cards in her hand. But in this case it was very well played
