I saw where this can be played solo. Just wondering if it works well.
Thanks.

Not well. It isn't made for solo play. So it plays as well as 2 player game played by one player can play. Oh, and you lose the gig of war since you can see all the block units

I've only been able to solo it so far, and personally I don't think it plays any worse than any other block game. YMMV.

Obviously it's not going to be as entertaining, but if you use the included solitaire rules for card play, it's certainly do-able.

I just wish the blocks were a little smaller..., or the board was bigger

But if the board was any bigger, it probably wouldn't fit on my table.

Solo isn't bad using the included Solo Rules. The Victory
objectives of the Game are very clear so easy to play each side
as the best moves are usually obvious.

You do lose the complete Fog of War but rules on Leaders &
movement restrictions, Winter effects make it fairly easy
to determine what Force the block(s) represent.

This makes WE probably the best Block Game to play Solo.
