Hi there,

Getting back into playing with some friends and had a night of playing that ended up lasting 5 hours.
We did put together 3 full boards so no wonder it did.

We want to use homebrew rules and as such want to make our own cards. We've all seen cards posted onto this site and wonder how you all created them?
Looking for the backgrounds and what you guys used to right them up.

This way we can get this sorted before we get them printed.

Can anyone help us?

You can print them on paper and put them in plastic sleeves.

Thanks for the reply.

what i did mean was what computer programs are people using to design / re write their cards?

Looking to do this also but im not sure if its going to be a professional package that you need or something you can do either over the interweb or standard programme found on most pc's?

Do you need more card ideas for the D&D Adventure System games?

Most people wait for this guy to design blank cards, although I doubt he'd do this for Space Crusade:

As far as programs go, I'll assume you're looking for the free variety, so I'd suggest Gimp or Inkscape. You can also give Paint.NET a try if you want something more lightweight.

The ideal scenario would be to find blanks someone else made that you only have to put artwork and text on.

Cool,

Ill take a look around for blank cards.

Are there any particular sites to look out for?

Otherwise ill look into those programmes and get on with getting our own done.

There are templates for cards and blips on a couple of threads at the the-lost-and-the-damned website.

Also checkout the work done by "Sirenix".
