I have both HoldFast games and love them both. They've replaced the Hammer of the Scots system (e.g. Hammer of the Scots, Richard III, Julius Caesar, etc.) as my go-to block wargame. HoldFast: Russia has also replaced EastFront II for me, achieving similar strategic outcomes with less complexity.
I'm really looking forward to this. I love Rommel in the Desert, but many of its rules are poorly designed and all poorly presented. I hope HoldFast: North Africa will capture the uncertainty of supply and daring gambles required in WW2 North Africa.
