Found this on FFG's Website

Looks really sweet, as a full scale star wars game.

Looks like the board game version of the PC game Empire at War. Not that, that is a bad thing.

Oo, I wonder if we can repurpose the minis for a Hoth game?

Indeed!

Even Hasbro's latest "Star Wars: Risk" isn't actually risk, but a lightweight retheme of Star Wars Queen's Gambit.

Unlikely to be economical. This is a $100 MSRP games and a single set probably won't have as many pieces as you would want for a pure Hoth ground game. Buying two or three sets just to make your Hoth game seems crazy when you can get Micro Machines or AMT/ERTL Battle of Hoth and Echo Base kits.

Dear FFG,

Please stop making so many great Star Wars related games. My wallet is already stretched trying to keep up with X-wing, let alone Imperial Assault. I don't have the resources to fund Armada, let alone yet another game that looks to be a sure-fire hit in Rebellion...

Yeah, I'm already stretched pretty thin between X-Wing, Imperial Assault, the Star Wars LCG, and FFG's Star Wars RPG lines (not to mention non-Star Wars FFG products like ANR and BattleLore). I've got to stop somewhere... as cool as this looks, I'll probably skip it.

New doesn't have a K in it, arrgh!

Sad as it is to admit, my X-Wing purchases have slowed down for the forseeable future, so this looks good. Thing is, who can I rope into playing it with me?

In relation to X-Wing I'm not sure how great of a campaign system this would be. Could work for Armada, but this thought illustrates why we need a companion ground battle game as well. Imperial Assault's scope isn't enough to determine the rule of an entire planet.

There is no reason to have two A's at the beginning of aardvark. I simply won't do it.

I'll wait to hear more, but at this moment I don't think I'll be getting this one. If I want an epic space conquest game I think I'd rather play TI3. It supports more than 2 players (yeah I know it says 4, but you know it will just be 2 players on each faction) and I'm worried about how linear this will be if they try to pigeon hole it into the timeline of the original trilogy. Just not seeing the wow factor here yet. Though the minis do look pretty cool, that's always a plus.

This looks amazing. I've been wanting a thematic game like this for some time, and sans the RISK tag (though I don't hate RISK).

This is an instant buy for me.
