I was thinking of using 20mm (1/72) figures for this. I know Zvezda does some nice 100 Years War stuff. Anyone else going that route?

I have - the Zvezda figures have a few multipart pieces, which I struggled to glue well, but the figures are SUPERB.

I've also put together some El Cid retinues using Hat figures.

I am using Strelets saxons and normans to form 4 retinues. Next in line will be Strelets saracens and I am thinking about rebasing (and finishing!) my HaT el Cid figures - some might become welsh

I play my wargames almost exclusively with 1/72 figures, and LR will be no exception. I'm still mustering my first retinue (a mixture of Zvezda and Italeri HYW figures, modeled after the Kingdom of Swadia from Mount & Blade), but as soon as I can I'll post some pictures here.

BTW, I strongly recommend using coins or metal washers as bases, they add a good weight to the figures, preventing them from tipping off during play.
