Here is a quick run through of our 6 player game from my perspective:

- Five players sit down to play mediums, one player the ghost
- Setup was a little overdone but after 20 minutes we were ready to go
- Rules were very simple and Dixit fans would be happy

First round:

- I'm feeling good, just got three red cards that look like a CHEF
- I'm shot down, It's not the CHEF but still feeling good
- One player moves on

Second round:

- Still feeling good
- Got another red card that looks like I should have picked the OLD LADY
- Shot down again and pretty confused about my suspect
- Two more players move forward

Third round:

- Ok its 50/50 of who I am now (either the COP or ADVENTURER)
- Got another card with a golden apple on a pedestal (very Indiana Jones like)
- Place my crystal ball on ADVENTURER and grab a Coke
- Shot down again! What the what!

Ghost breaks the rules and tells me that the cop's mustache is red, red, red! I should have seen it. I tell him there is red in every picture! The last picture was a gold apple on a pedestal what else should I think? He says apples are usually red!angry

- Last player moves on and I'm about to stab the ghost with (unknown weapon)

Fourth round:

- I place my orb on COP, my hand also tightens on the (unknown weapon)
- I am right! My hand relaxes on the (unknown weapon)

Fifth round:

- I don't care where anyone else is or voting I just want to get my location right
- Three cards that all have water, I "communicate" to the ghost that it better be the pool or else
- The pool was right and I'm moving on!

Sixth round:

- I realize maybe I can help the ghost by telling him what kind of vision I would like
- I do my best Johnny Carson impression and ask for cards that the weapon would be useful for
- The ghost gives me balloons tied by ROPES and ships with a ROPE and flags
- I feel good again because the ghost and I are on the same page
- I place my orb on the ROPE
- SHOT DOWN! About to crash land. Death imminent.
- Ghost steps out of character again and says he wasn't listening to me earlier and there are boxes in both pictures like the CHEST

Seventh round:

- All the other player realize we aren't going to win, a few others haven't guessed their weapon either
- We all sigh when we lose the game and everyone gets up to grab snacks
- I grab my (unknown weapon) and hide in the (unknown room)
- The clue giver comes in the room, not noticing daggers in my eyes
- The clue giver becomes a real ghost

Next game:

- I walk out of the room and the group wants to play another game
- Now there are only five players who want to know how the ghost died and who did it

After you left we did a good job and solved it. Clearly, you were the weakest link. cool

~The Ghost

P.S.: I didn't listen to your request as that seems go against the principle of the game and would make it too easy.

P.P.S: Nice job thinking your guy was a cop. He was a conductor (or something similar). I gave you train stuff too.

The cop wasn't used in our game (the dude on the bottom row).

I think that every player who ever cursed the clues they were being given should be made to play as the ghost one time. zombie

Well, the Ghost really should have changed his tactic if it didn't work three times earlier. That's part of the fun, listening to how the others come to their conclusions about their clues, right or wrong. The ghost could then play into that. As in "oh, he's in fact not looking at the colours"

I want to play this. We haven't gotten our hands on it yet. I have it on order from my FLGS.

This is just as likely to backfire on you when the investigators change their approach at the same time you change yours.

"Hmm...they never guess colors. I'll stop giving color clues"

"Wait a minute, the ghost kept giving us color clues - let's look real closely at the colors on these clues!"

The Dude between the two ladies on the bottom row is a British cop. Definitely not a conductor.

Played our first game and I was the ghost. Incredibly everyone agreed that it must be quite difficult for the ghost behind the screen!

And poo to the ghost for speaking and revealing the existence of the supernatural. Has he never seen Beetlejuice?
