I haven't played the game in a while, so I am not up to date on the current meta, but would like to jump back into the fray, after buying the new core set. My question is, how would this squad fair on the playmat:

Jake Farrel - ATP, CR, PtL, Autothrusters, Wired (28)
Nera Dantels - F Torpedoes, Extra Munitions, Dead Eye, B-Wing/E2, Recon Specialist (35)
Poe Dammeron - BB-8, PtL, (Integrated Astromech in future iterations) (36)

Getting autothrusters on Poe would be a huge improvement. Wired might be the only place to save the points that doesn't destroy everything else, but I hate that as the thing to get eliminated...

Does Autothrusters make that much of a difference on Poe? I have yet to fly him, but it seems to me, that the new X-wing does not really rely on defense die (more survivable than the B-wing, but 2 greens are still not enough).

My real worry in the squad is Nera Dantels, will she work (and survive long enough to work) as a pseudo turret against high PS arc dodgers?

You aren't landing just a ton of damage with Nera, but it looks like you're worried about Soontir/Phantoms so that's not necessarily bad.

If you can find the room for R5-P9, Predator/Lonewolf or PTL, and Autothrusters on Poe you should definitely consider it.

You've almost got room for 2 Prototype Pilots which I think may do more for this list than Jake. He's just hard to find a home for.

Yeah Jake is fun but your model there is probably built too defensively without a lot of punch. If you edited or cut him maybe you could put more threatening ordnance on Nera.

I always run Poe with PtL, R5P9, and Auto Thrusters. Yes he only has 2 green but you can make those 2 green work for you and you'll be getting your shields back with the droid. And from my experience if your running A Wing Aces then commit and bulk them up with proton rockets etc, if your running the refits and making it a harasser then I'd take a couple generics over 1 ace.

You have a maneuverable T70 that hits hard, a BWing that hits hard, and a super maneuverable AWing that doesnt have mich punch at all. Your squad doesn't really make up its mind on what it wants to do. That makes it hard to evaluate the list.

My limited personal experience is that having a single really hard to kill guy without great offense in a squad of heavy hitters isn't super useful. They wipe out your hitters and then try to deal with your arc dodger.

I would drop Jake completely for another BWing and spent the remaining points on a better torpedo for Nera and that autothruster for Poe. Then I would need to playtest it to see if my idea was any good.
