I don't think Rubio "stuck up" for Sanders, as the CNN headline claimed, but he definitely didn't tee off on him like I'm sure his questioner wanted him to.

In general, I like to see when candidates admit that their opponents are not evil people who seek the destruction of America; they just have different ideas about how to make America better.

Huh, I like it. In today's political terms, he basically did stick up for him -- which is ridiculous when what he said including saying that Sanders should leave the country!

Still, that was a decent thing to say and I'm surprised to hear it. I wonder if he'll have a kind word for Hillary or Obama? I think that would probably hurt him politically too much at this point in the primaries, but it would be nice to see the string of civility continue.
