Clouded destiny very much failed to protect my beloved cylons, robot
so lets try again:

This game will be a rematch of BSG V126:
https://boardgamegeek.com/article/20257080#20257080
A big thankyou to ColtsFan76 for making this all possible. cool

On with the formalities:

This will be a 5 or 6 player game (Cylon leader, daybreak motives, if 6 players) but using the '18 card complex destiny' rule:
The destiny deck starts with 3 cards of each type shuffled into it, and then always restocks when it still has 6 cards remaining, by adding another 2 of each type to the last 6 unknown cards.
This makes the game harder for the humans as it prevents destiny-counting and encourages cylons to spike multiple checks as it is difficult to pin blame on people. (Difficult to prove it, at least)

This game is a variant game and a rematch - It will not be using the waiting list, sorry.

Some particular notes for those taking part (you can find more notes and tips on nbergom's geeklist Tips and Tricks of BSG PBF):

Rules

d10-1 In order to participate, you must own a copy of game.

d10-2 You are expected to subscribe to this thread and check it at least twice daily.

d10-3 Private communication will be by geekmail between me and particular players, all other communication will be by posting in this thread.

d10-5 Please use the following posting conventions:
- Normal text for discussions.
- Italics for flavor texts.
- Bold for in-game moves and actions. I won't process any decisions/actions unless bolded in the thread or I receive them by geekmail.

d10-6 Please follow the secrecy rules. Some often overlooked secrecy violations include:
* Saying "medium" if you've played one card.
* Talking about scouted cards (top or buried) beyond "good" or "bad".
* Identifying which cards/colors you played into a skill check.
* Volunteering the contents of your hand if it's not directly relevant to the current discussion.

Conditional Orders

Please use COs extensively. They should all be sent by Geekmail and be clearly marked with "CO".

Please refrain from posting public COs.

Generally, I assume you will pass on everything that has not been clarified in a CO unless someone specifically asks me to wait in the thread.

Characters with special interrupts (like Starbuck) should use extensive CO's.

Game mechanics in play:
Pegasus Game Board. (And skilldecks, and crisis cards)
Daybreak. (Mutiny, new treachery, new Colonial-1)
Kobol destination - (8 Distance)
ICs DO NOT reveal destiny
10 card quorum limit
Cylons autopass spare loyalties
Final Fives

No class restrictions on character selection

Standard nerfs on the Overpowered characters:

-Helena Cains 'Blind Jump' ability takes the fleet to the first none-scouted destination. (Any scouted cards left on top, stay on top after the jump and will appear in the next destination choice)
-Tory Fosters ability now reads: 'After any player plays the action on a quorum card, you may play a Consolidate Power card from your hand, if you have one.
-And if the airlock is in play, then Saul Tigh's 'Cylon Hatred' ability now reads as '-3 modifier option to both AQ and airlock checks'

Location upgrades for rarely used locations:
-With Pegasus in play, Galacticas 'Weapons control' rarely get's used because Peggy-CIC has far superior firepower. It now upgrades to: 'Activate location to attack 2 different types of cylon ship in the same space sector.'
-Research lab: Never used by veteran players because drawing a single skillcard is such a weak action.
Now upgraded to: 'Draw 2 skillcards from any combination of PP, BB, PB.
Choose 1 card to keep and 1 card to discard.'

Rare/Specific rules
- If 'Thirty Three' is in play and 'relentless pursuit' is still active when the fleet jumps, shuffle 'Thirty Three' randomly into the top 10 cards of the crisis deck.
- For the 'unwelcome faces' admiral chooses crisis card, the top option should be read as: 'The Admiral must discard all of his skill cards and then choose a character to send to the "Brig."

D100 for turn order. Highest roll goes first.

This one will be with normal skilldecks - same as last time.

That new skilldeck thing I mentioned is something I might do next time, but on it's own, without other variant rules overcomplicating things.

Im still on the ideas phase for it, I dont want to set that one up until i'm fairly sure it will have decent(ish) balance.

A lot of variance in them there dicerolls, you guys would make for an amusing D&D party...
Apollo expertly slaughters 7 grues in quick sucession with his battleaxe, meanwhile roslin and athena trip over their own shoelaces...

Just need Ian Wrights D100, and we're good to go.
Most likely the turn order will be as above, those high on the list can start to CO your characters if you've already made a decision.

I do think all support characters could be interesting. Plenty of blues to go around, so those Scientific Research cards will be really handy.

J_holmes/Steel Wool variant character that drew 3 engineering, there was some arguments over that.

I had to either reveal quickly or got executed early as it was :s

Wait, I actually get to choose first? I actually wanted to choose second, since it looks like I will probably be low on cards if I go first. Oh well, guess we'll go with Roslin.

Just kidding!
