Hail Adventurers,

You think you know your enemy? Then let us know it as well!

The coolest ideas will be implemented in the game, because each enemy will have a double sided Scroll card in order to represent two different enemies/challenge levels!

An enemy may be customized in 4 main aspects:

1) the A.I., in which you should state:

The preferred enemy type: most gold, most wounded, the closest, a particular fighting style (Faith, Dexterity, Magic, Strength)
The general concept of the enemy: i.e., melee, ranged, teleporter, summoner, and so on

2) The powers, subdivided in:

Attack powers
Defense powers
Passive powers
A.I. activated powers
Special powers, usually activated by the Encounter cards
Weakness or resistance to damage type, if any (such as arcane, blunt,pierce, slash)

3) Weapons. Each enemy must have at least one primary weapon and optionally a secondary weapon. Each weapon may have up to two damage sources chosen from: hit, red dice or blue dice, + 1 special effect (among those already in the game or stated in the power description), each source may be chosen only once.
If the enemy has just one weapon, the weapon may have up to two powers.

4) hit points, armor, magic shields, loot (expressed as soul gems and treasures).

Ok, here is a couple of unholy creations for the Book of the Dead which works with a cetain Zombie game.

That being said, feel free to take them and modify them as you see how.

To make it work, I use minis that are freely available - but these are two unique creature designs with my own backstories so if you want them - they're yours to use as you please.

The thing I'm most interested in is being able to use the heroes and monsters from GD. I would love to get printed cards for both (rather than downloads). I would also love to get printed cards for S&S stuff in GD.

I'd be more interested in enemies that have more game effects:
spiders that web you
hell hounds that set things on fire
ethereals that can move through walls
sorcerers that sacrifice themselves once wounded to summon daemons

A nice expansion would be an Egyptian one where the heroes had to fight mummies with tomb rot, exploding beetles, tomb robbers, and necromancers (similar to several Conan adventures as well as a certain expansion to a "old" dungeon crawler). Of course the expansion would include a pit fighter/gladiator hero!

Ok, I'll try to make some enemies. I'm not very good at english so if there are something "strange" please let me know blush
I'm thinking about jungle-themed enemies, here some examples:

Unholy Trees are terrible, dead trees reanimated and possessed by ghosts.
Miniatures are formed by 4 pieces: a main miniature and 3 branchs that can be attached to the tree. Branch miniature may be used instead of using the ROOT token (see later).


LESSER UNHOLY TREE – GREEN Side A
Preferred Victim: Faith
Fighting Style: Strenght
Race: Undead
HP: 6
Armor: 2 Armor

{0} Attack twice with WOODEN WHIP
{1} {2} Attack with WOODEN WHIP and move the targeted hero in the same area of Unholy Tree
{3} Attack with DEMONIC SPINES
{+} Use ROOT OF EVIL 1

Passive:
Cannot be Poisoned or suffer Critical.
When reach 0 points, flip this card to Side B

Attack:

Action:
Roots of Evil 1: Put a ROOT token in an area adjacent to Unholy Tree trying to reach the nearest hero. Max 1 token per area.
When a hero enters this area, he must spend one more movement to leave it.
Moreover, every hero in this area must attempt a Save Roll or suffer Poison I.

Moreover, every hero in this area must attempt a Save Roll or becomes KOed.

Draw a Power Card. If an enemy stay in an area where is present a ROOT token, he gains that Power Card bonus.
Moreover, every hero in this area must attempt a Save Roll or suffer 1 wound.

Ok, here we have the second jungle-themed enemy.
Magic Storm was created by mad mages. Trying to shape the magic powers of the elements, they fall under their raging fury. Now they are free!


LESSER ACID STORM – GREEN Side A
Preferred Victim: Richest
Fighting Style: Magic
Race: Magic Construct
HP: 4

{0} Attack with WIND. Use Gold Growth
{1} Move to engage and attack with WIND. Use Tranquillity
{2} {3} Move 1 area and attack with ACID BLAST
{+} Move 2 Areas

Pierce - 1 HIT

Reaction:
When Defending roll 2 Blue Dice. If Acid Storm rolls
[BOLT]: Acid Storm suffer no damage
[GREMLIN]: If this is a Melee attack, the hero lose the weapon (discard it)

Attack:
Metal Shock: The targeted Hero discard 5 Crowns (if possible) putting them on this card.
Gold Strike: Every hero in the area must put 5 Crowns on this card (if possible).

Action:
Gold Growth: if there are 15 Crowns on this card, discard them and flip it to Side B.
Tranquillity: Until Next Time Phase, this enemy cannot be targeted by attacks or effects.

Thirst of Blood: Everytime an enemy or a hero suffer a wound on this area, put a token on this card. With 3 token on it, discard them, flip this card to Side A and put in this area a Greater Blood Storm.


Side B of Greater Blood Storm is a simple placeholder, it's purpose is to make Greater Blood Sorm virtually indestructible.
I'm working on the 3rd enemy class: Yuan-Ti.

Does anyone already have Photoshop templates for the cards? I can create them from the PDFs, but I try to avoid reinventing the wheel if someone else already has one I can start with.
