So, we've played the Prosperity scenario and had a few rules questions...

Firstly, the goods tiles are placed face-down, but what happens if you move your merchant over two different goods tokens. Can you look at both of them and choose which one to take?

Secondly - I'm really not sure we did this right, but when a carpenter built a building, we put a wooden token on top of an adjacent goods tile - and assumed that this meant that this goods tile was then unavailable for the rest of the game... It seems like an unusual mechanic, and we weren't sure why this was...?

Hi Jeff,

To your first question:

when you move your merchant over a street or a river that shows 2 goods tiles, you choose just one of them and take it. You are not allowed to look at them and choose after that.

To your second question:

I hope I got your point right: if a building once is placed on a goods tile, the goods tile is not longer available to get picked up. (The goods tiles underneath a building are like "foundations".)

I hope these answers will help!
