When can you flip a ship or a train to the better side? I didn't see anything on that in the rules, though I may be missing it.

On your reference ship. The Factory Tiles synergy

The Lenses and something else let you flip the ship/train tiles.

Ah. Definitely has limits, but could be quite valuable if building that later in the game.

Great point! It is worth even more then, since it impacts all unused ones and thus could change them all. Makes more sense too.
