Hello everybody,

could someone explain me how the "luxury good" in the bottom right corner should be used? And does the "special function" in the low middle of the card mean that if you want to bid for a card near the "Conquest" card, you might use one less coin to make your bid?

The luxury good means you add 1 luxury good each turn to the luxury good card.

The -1 (with an arrow on) means cards in the conquest row are 1 cheaper.

This aligns with the answer here, from someone who says they asked Bernd directly.

That answer makes sense if you're familiar with the original board game, but I don't know how anyone could guess it from just the card game rules.

Hopefully the rulebook will be updated to include this, although I would actually prefer that a second edition use different (more explicit) iconology to distinguish "income you get every round" from "production you have available when you feed" from "production you have available when you build".
