What:
This MT will have a two-phased Offer Submission period. The restrictions on what is allowed are purposely designed to keep this MT from growing to an unwieldy size.

Phase 01:
During phase 01 all games and a restricted set of non-games will be allowed.
Non-game items: 3-1 Rule--For each non-game item (including GC and GG) that you would like to offer, you must first post at least 3 games as main offers (take 3 slots in the Trade GeekList). For example, if you want to enter four (4) GeekGold offers, then you must have previously listed 12 separate games as main offers. Games offered as Sweeteners do not count toward the 3 game offers for each 1 non-game offer ratio. However, you may offer an unlimited number of non-game items as Sweeteners during Phase 01.

Phase 02:
During phase 02 only a restricted set of games will be allowed. Only games that meet at least one of the following requirements will be allowed:
A. High Quality High Demand games: Any game (or expansion) that has an average rating of 7.5 or higher AND that has a Net Demand of at least 25 users (Net Demand = Number of Users Wanting the specific item minus the Number of Users Trading the specific item). Please include a statement in the Comments section of your entry that announces the net demand so that we all can see that you are in compliance with the +25 rule.
B. 18XX train games: Are always allowed and welcomed regardless of Average Ranking or Net Demand.
C. Wargames: Any game that BGG categorizes as a Wargame.
Other games are not allowed as main offers in Phase 02 but may be included as sweeteners. Non-game items are not allowed in Phase 02 (except as sweeteners). You may offer an unlimited number of non-game items as Sweeteners during Phase 02.

How:
Listing Details: You must provide accurate details on condition, language, edition/publisher, and any other important pertinent data for every offered item (including sweeteners). Do NOT just say "as pictured". If you do not provide any details related to condition, you will be expected to deliver a brand-new-still-in-shrink copy of the item. For games not brand new (in shrink) you must inventory the game's components and list anything missing. Do not assume it's complete.
If the game and/or expansion you are listing is a "Print & Play" make that clear in the description (and I recommend you give specifics of what it was printed on, mounted on, etc).
If you are listing an expansion then clearly state in the description whether you are including the base game or not. Do not include a link to the base game unless you are offering it as most people do not actually read the description and will get confused by the pretty colors in the OLWLG. In fact, please do NOT include links to other games in your entry unless you are actually including them as a sweetener, as the OLWLG will display these in a misleading manner.
For this MT, if the item is described as in "Average Condition", that will mean that the item may be used and may have been played a few times; that all of the components/bits are accounted for and that the item is 100% complete; that the components may show minor wear/use and have no flaws that hinder play; that the box retains structural integrity and may show minor wear/shelfwear or maybe even a small ding; that the insert (if there ever was one) may or may not still be present (if an insert is material to your decision to want the item, please post a comment); that the rules may have a stain (but will NOT look like a CIA-redacted document); that the item is NOT in mint/collector's condition and neither does not look like it has been through a tornado, but rather is in... well... average condition which the overwhelming majority of gamers (but not collectors/investors) would be more than happy with.
If the item is described as "Unused" or "Unopened" or "Unpunched" or "Unplayed" or "Still in Shrink", that will mean that the item has not been played; that the item is 100% complete; that the box may or may not show minor wear/shelfwear or maybe even a small ding or slight dishing; that the original insert is still present and that the item is basically in the same kind of condition that you would find the item in at the majority of game stores (based on its age).
Feel free to add any additional data or clarifying data to your offer that you think might encourage others to add your items to their Want Lists.

Non-Game Items: Non-game entries must be added as "Outside the Scope of BGG" (game id 23953), "Miscellaneous Game Accessory" (game id 5985) or "Miscellaneous Game Merchandise" (game id 22104) and must include the +altname+ brief description -altname- format in the description of your item. If you are offering an expansion for which there is no entry in BGG (for instance expansion cards handed out at Essen) and NOT the base game, please use "Miscellaneous Game Accessory" to help avoid confusion.

Arbitration: You may not trade up, but you may trade down or may trade laterally. For example, if you are offering a $30 Amazon GC, you may add a $30 Coolstuff GC to your Want Lists, but may not add a $50 GVC GC to your Want Lists.

Sweetener(s): Are strongly encouraged (helps to mitigate shipping costs). If you are including any sweeteners to create a "lot", be sure to insert a Sweetener(s): tag or label in your description.

Change Management Process:
Do not materially degrade/negatively change (delete, substitute, or split) an offer or any sweeteners once they are posted. If you no longer wish to trade an entry as it was originally posted, simply edit the original text (but do NOT delete the entry from the GL), and change its description to "Item No Longer Available, I'll submit a blank want list" or text to that effect.
Is this a bit kludgy and cumbersome? Yes, but it is the only way to minimize misunderstandings, miscommunications, and drama.

Shipping:
This is a no-ship MT. Items will be exchanged at the Fields of Honor Spring 2010 convention. Traders (those trading away games) and receivers (those getting the games) are required to contact each other prior to the convention and set up their own time and location to trade/receive games.

Who:
If you've been reported as a bad trader, you cannot participate. If you try to, I will remove your entries. If anyone sees someone posting entries who is a bad trader, please let me know or post in the discussion list. Any user added to Bad Traders is also banned from participating in this particular MT.

Other Important Notes That Did Not Fit Above:
The moderator reserves the right to remove items from the list for any reason.

By posting an item in this MT, you agree to abide both by the general math trade guidelines and by those specific to this particular math trade.

If you have any general questions please do NOT click the Comment link in the Trade GeekList header, but rather ask in the Discussion thread. However, for questions on individual items, please feel free to add comments to individual geeklist items (but again do not add general comments to the geeklist itself)

At the end of the day, all these MT's are based on trust. Even when we disagree about what the "best" rule set is and what items should be allowed and how much detail is appropriate, we still trust each other to follow the rules of the specific MT. We, in the BGG community, trust each other to accurately describe our offered items. We trust each other to ship our items. Obviously, everybody would enjoy getting a trade up or getting a good deal, but we trust each other to act with integrity throughout the entire process. We trust each other to do the right thing in situations where the rules are ambiguous or an issue arises. Please do not violate this trust.
