I got the AAW, 3rd edition. The rules state that you should put all the cards randomly in a pile, and then draw ten per phase. If playing solitaire, you one by one, draw out ten cards and keep shifting them to the right.

Other than the target card you want to bomb, which has to be under your Zep (right??), are there location effects about the other cards? I assume a cloud card for instance, lasts only as long as it's on the card track below.



Poorly written rules in general, with info scattered all over the place and too much information for the enemy fighters I have to keep track of in addtion to my Zep.

Yes, the card effects last only as long as its on the card track below.

I am working on a cardgame (so no board) that corrects the problems you point out in Airships At War. The working title is Zeppelin Commander. The solitaire part is working OK, but the two-player Pacific theater still needs a lot of work. Looking for playtesters early next year.
