I am pretty sure his examples for shooting are wrong. I am sure the defender gets to choose who takes the hit, allowing minions to shield a boss, or a terminator to shield someone squishy.

If you've seen the GW video of the play though hosted by Phil Kelly, you are correct. The person being attacked is able to choose which marines take the hits.

Yup - I'm the guy who started the thread about that other video here on BGG.

I didn't watch to the end of this guy's video, so I wasn't sure whether he corrected himself later on

Doesn't running use up both your actions in one time?
Otherwise, what's the use in advancing (going forward only one hex), when you could just as well go 2 hexes by using a run action?

There's other rules I understood differently from watching the GW-play-video and getting a brief demo at the store.

afaik - you cant run if you are adjacent to an enemy, and that also applies during the run (so you can only run if you never come in contact with the enemy, unless its the last movement)
also you cant run through rubble.

hmm. thats surprisingly hard to explain

try this (you'll have to squint)

I think I got it! Thanks. :-)

Guess I'll see what the rules say when I get my box.

The fact you cannot run if any hex you run through is adjacent to an enemy-occupied hex certainly enforces that "it's crowded in here," Space-Hulk-like cramped corridor feeling.

You can't even run with scissors.
