Per 11.2 when playing a fire season the situation is determined by rolling 2 dice and playing the situation corresponding to the lower number. Doubles mean rain and no fires occurring. Per these rules Intermittent Rain would not occur as it is situation 6 and the only way to achieve it would be to roll doubles.

I will play Intermittent Rain should I roll double sixes so I am not missing out on that situation.

Any thoughts or other opinions?

Curious. I think I included situation 6 specifically for the fire season game, yet did not realize that I prevented it by using the lower number. As written, it will never happen (which is not necessarily bad).

You are welcome to be creative. My suggestion would be to use situation 6 when double 6s are rolled.
