Well this seems to be the most controversial (the only flaw of this game IMHO): the Water Level is 4 or 5 but the remaining tiles are equal to or fewer than this number so the threat of losing is imminent.

As far as I know, I am not the only one who thinks that this is unfair and ends the game in a cruel, cynical fashion. So, I created a house rule that makes it more interesting and adds suspense in the game:

Say there are 3 tiles remaining on the Island but the Water Level is on 4. Then, at the end of their turn players draw only 3 Flood cards and do not reshuffle. Game goes on normally but if a ''Waters Rise'' card is drawn, team loses outright (as if the same Flood cards would be drawn again).

What do you fans think about it? Share your thoughts, any feedback would be nice
