I know I can look up # of players via search but I want more specifics.

Like what games can be played 3vs3 or 2vs2vs2?

Any ideas?

I'll start you off with a few that I know of:

Ladies & Gentlemen - asymmetrical, light, party-ish game in pairs. Plays best with 3+ couples. (This one is silly but I actually really enjoy it.)

Battle For Souls - mainly 1v1 but has a 2v2 mode as well.

Fortune and Glory: The Cliffhanger Game - multiple modes of play: competitive, co-operative and competitive teams. Plays up to 8.

Then there are party games like Two Rooms and a Boom.

I'm sure I'll think of some more later.

Codenames is a recent release that is already ranked the #1 Party Game on in the BGG rankings. That's pretty incredible. It's a two-team game. No matter the number of players (as long as you have 4+), you divide into two teams.
