I started Pandemic Legacy with two of my friends yesterday.
We lost our first game due to an epidmic drawn on the very first turn, but won the second game easily.
Since then we won every game up to the end of april thanks to an awesome combo.

We played with Medic, scientist and quarantine specialist as soon as it became available.
The scientist had his handsize raised by one and became a colleague of the quarantine specialist.
The quarantine specialist also recieved pilot as an upgrade.
Now she can fly to a city without discarding it and give the card directly to the scientist.
All three remaining deseases have the level 2 upgrade for having been eradicated and can be cured without an Action. That way, we are able to heal them pretty quickly.
The quarantine specialist and the Medic can also keep everything else under control pretty easily.
We did not have any major outbreaks. Hong Kong is at level 3 and several other cities at level 1.
I dont think we made any major mistakes and yes, we only had two upgrades after every game. But the pilot/colleague combo is very very strong in my opinion.

What doch you think of That?

I am in a 3 player legacy tour as well. It seems we have it easier. We have the quarantine specialist, the cure with 4 cards, and the researcher (hand out cards easier). This is a very good combo as well... we won 5 times, lost april once. Next up: June!

It is easier with less player and your combo is nice but not gamebreaking. Colleague with scientist is also very nice and only needs on action. We are playing with four players and did lose our first march mission. The second try was easier but we had more luck with drawing the cards. When you only draw non matching cards, it gets pretty hard to give them to other players. And with four players you're pretty limited with your individual turns.

That combo is great, but it's hardly game breaking. There are even better combos than that IMO. Scientist-Researcher coworkers, for example.

But only possible if you only use one of them in your first game.

We managed to get this scientist-researcher combo going in our game, it is very powerful but still not game breaking. Even with this combo we have lost a few games (in fact lost whole months), so far we have totally lost May and August and won every other month the first try, we are about to start October.

We have the Dispatcher with the pilot upgrade. [sp] and later the veteran upgrade [/sp]

It is fundamentally broken but certainly helped us get to 12-1. Our one loss had 3 epidemics in the first 18 cards in one of the later months.

Our most potent relationship was that of rivals. Lots of ways to move cards around once you get to 7, and with the dispatcher moving you around you keep a lot of cards.
