So I was fighting a level 3 Phoenix and things weren't going well. Probally because I sent in a fresh savior and another zero exp guy.
I had really good gear all around had some wounds maybe 6-7 , stacked up some age tokens. Rawhide set survivor couldn't use anything with +2 strength and she was rocking dual swords. So was head banding and I kinda put myself in a situation of letting the Phoenix get chatter (mood) out so I could purposely double my age tokens , by surgeing a few times for a couple rounds until Dèjá Abu came out and me with 37 age tokens.
Now it was planned but I don't know if I made the right call.
Start new campaign, new settlement from first story with current survivors there gear, and the fat stack of resources I had.
So did I make the wrong call. Did prologue fight , so easy and so much fun.
What I have now year 1:
New Blue savior with
Full screaming armor
Sonic tomahawks x2
Full leather armor
Finger of God
White lion mask
Max understanding and courage
cat eye circlet
White lion boots
Bone pick axe
Full rawhide armor
Bone pick axe
So what do you think
Minor (I think) spoilers below.
Looks correct. Search for some other threads about Clinging Mists as some similar issues can come up there. Taking only your current survivors returning from the fight as well as your current gear set seems to be correct. In both cases I've argued that you keep your resources as well, but this seems clearer in your case with Phoenix Deja Vu than in the case of Clinging Mists.
It is nice to start again with a boost...your nemesis fights should be much easier now.
