Sadly there are no longer any game stores in my local area so I have to do all of my shopping online. Here are a few of the sites I have used and am curious what some other good ones are?

http://boardsandbits.com/
http://newspiel.com/
http://bouldergames.com/
http://www.funagain.com/

I have had good experiences with all of these and have also recently made an order at http://gamestation.net/ so depending on how that goes will be adding them to my list. I'm sure there are other stores out there that people use though so I would love to hear about them.

I primarily use Boulder Games, but a couple of others that I've used that you might want to check out are Thought Hammer (http://www.thoughthammer.com/) and Fairplay Games (http://www.fairplaygames.com/).

Thoughthammer is usually my one stop shop... especially for larger orders.

A handy site for online comparison shopping, board game style, is:

http://www.boardgamesearch.com/

It covers all the fundamentals

I've had fantastic experiences with www.boardsandbits.com, www.fairplaygames.com, and www.thoughthammer.com.

Funagain has a better selection than some retailers and some decent combinations. But they also tend to discount less than their competitors.

boardgamesearch is cool, but it doesn't cover www.gamesurplus.com, which is another outstanding online retailer. (Lots of imports in stock, fast turnaround, etc.)

[oops. I was thinking http://www.boardgameseeker.com/]

I've used Thoughthammer (tends to have the best prices), boulder games (tends to have more imports, for example this was where I found Diamant, and I think this is where I found Schidekroetenrennen also), Funagain (is most likely to have games that are out of stock elsewhere), and Cardhaus (similar to thoughthammer). I've had good experiences with all 3, no complaints at all.

Sure it does! Check out the button numbered 8 on the search bar.

I use www.timewellspent.org as well as some of the others mentioned above. Timewellspent has had the best prices from what I've seen.

Same here. Shipping is ussually the same if you buy 1 game of 4 so the larger the order the bigger the savings. Plus they offer free shipping for orders over $125. They also have great customer service. I am a big fan!

I order games one at a time.

I find www.timewellspent.com to be the cheapest for single game orders. Does anyone disagree?

It's www.timewellspent.org which is weird since it's not a non-profit.

See http://www.columbia.edu/~tir2101/nycgamer.html#Links for a list of online retailers.

I recommend using http://www.boardgamesearch.com/ to compare prices.

Personally I've been very pleased with http://www.thoughthammer.com/ but have also been happy with http://www.fairplaygames.com/ and http://www.timewellspent.org/

Also, see people's replies when I asked about this in a previous forum thread: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/70905

Gotta put in the good word for GameSurplus.com. Great place to shop for smaller orders. Good selection and great prices. With larger orders the free shipping at Thoughthammer makes up the differences on the prices though.

I don't know... I did a test for Memoir '44 Eastern Front Expansion. Timewellspent.org is $31.16 with shipping. GameSurplus is $33.28.

Really... can anyone regularly beat Timewellspent for a single game order? I've yet to see it. I'd love to know if I'm missing something.

FYI... GamesSurplus is located substantially closer to me than Timewellspent. You can't tell me that they aren't skimming some profit off of shipping. That's a major pet peeve of mine. I don't mean to pick on just them, since it seems pretty rampant.

Other places can certainly beat their selection, especially for imported games. Another store worth mentioning is LeValet in Canada. They have flat-rate shipping to the US ($5) and stock many things that are hard to get on this side of the Atlantic.

I've almost ordered from Le Valet several times, but there is one question that hangs me up - will I get nailed with customs fees?
