Subject: How are the ship tokens used? rss

Each colored set of tokens for a player includes a ship token.

Is that just used if you prefer not to use the wooden ship? (Or perhaps the wooden ships were a kickstarter bonus).

Or perhaps the ship token has a use I've not divined?

Ah, found my own answer I believe. The rules refer to ship tokens, and not the wooden ships.

You may use either the cardboard tokens or the wooden shops, at your discretion.

You could use the cardboard ship token to make your movement rate, 3 or 5, on the same meter you mark everything else. Like you need another marker there.
