Took my brand new copy of Norsaga down to my FLGS's weekly gaming night to play, and low-and-behold there are three other copies there, all being played!

The game went down a hoot with everyone - I think the whole shop had played at least one game of it by the end of the night. Excellent little game!

That's awesome! Hope some game nights around here have a similar experience.

When I first received the game last week, my youngest son and I had played the basic version once.

Tonight we played three games with Skalds and Ghosts. It took my wife three games to warm up to it and discover the synergies and combos.
It was a lot fun to use the Skalds.
I was the only player to dabble in Ghosts.

First game was a four-player with my wife and two youngest kids. She won.
Second game was a three-play with my wife and oldest son. He won.
Third was a two-player against my wife. She won again.
She liked it best with two-player because it felt more cutthroat. surprise

In one of the games, I tried to go with Yellow embellishments.
Ugh. I was not impressed with the 1st generation embellishment.
Seems to get better at the 3rd generation, but I bailed before I had chance to try.

It's a great little game and since my wife enjoys it, it's gone from great to excellent.

Thanks, Bishop Bros.

Thanks for sharing!

I'll add that I would keep a healthy eye on all of yellow's embellishments, I think in the long run I've seen them get more use by people who don't need them for their saga than any other color.
