I've made a new Vassal video.
This one deals with the mechanics of Melees.
Something I notice when I do these videos, is that after the fact I think of things which should have been in the video.
In this case it is close assaulting Broken and Shaken units.
A Broken unit in Melee does not get to fire back, so it is a free shot for the attacker. And if the Broken unit survives, it must retreat.
A Shaken unit in Melee has reduced Firepower and has a -1 modifier to its roll in the Melee combat. And if it survives, it will also have to retreat out of the hex.
