1) A snork with a mallet for a hand holding a candle

2) Boats, apparently

3) The famed Hnke bathtub, available at 4, 3, and 10 o'clock.

4-5) Barn doors.

6) Infinity... and beyond!.. No wait, there's nothing beyond infinity, so just to there, then.

7) No bathing 2-2-12

LOL, my wife just walked by as I was laughing at your answers and I had to explain to her what was so amusing. After I was done explaing what I was laughing at (the bathtub and barndoors), and then explaining what they really meant, she stared at me for a moment then walked off with a DID I REALLY NEED TO KNOW attitude.

Number 6 looks to be from Rise and Decline of the Third Reich.

This would be a cool weekly contest! Every week, a "mystery counter" image would be posted, and whoever guesses correctly first is the winner. Whoever gets the most "wins" in a year gets some kind of prize, or at least the kudos from an undoubtedly awestruck audience!

The 1/vT counter is from SPI's Arnhem. I think the 2-2-12 and the Hnke counetra re also from SPI quad games. The tac unit is from Blitzkrieg, I believe.

Thanks for the help and the laughs
That was most helpful
1. Rise and Fall
2. ??
3. SPI's Arnhem
4. Decision at Kasserine
5. SPI's Arnhem
6. Rise and Decline of the Third Reich/Blitzkrieg Module System
7. SPI's Arnhem
The most bizzarre thing is that I have never owned or been near a copy of "rise and fall"!!! The counter must be some sort of cardboard based deserter?

Actually, #3, 5 and 7 are all (probably) from the SPI Arnhem Folio (Westwall Quad), 1976; Interesting the subtly different shade of gray the Hnke (4-3-10) counter (Reinforcement, Game Turn Three, 0126-0825) has from the other two. #5 1/vT (3-3-7) is a game turn One reinforcement (Hex 3907-3916), and #7 9S (2-2-12) is in the initial setup, (3322). This is based on checking the Folio rules, not the actual counters.

When a mommy avatar and a daddy avatar are really, really in love, sometimes they give each other a special hug and that's where avatars come from.

I have been running such a competition for wargames for years. Read the paragraph and follow the links about the Grognards Challenge at http://grognard.com/#intro

Hi, I have some units that i can't for the life of me work out what game they are from. I have outlined two lots of units in the image one with a Green line and one with a Red line to show that i think they are from the same set well the one with the Green is deff from the same set. I was hopeing that someone could help me out by taking a look at the picture to see if they know what game they are from or games.
