Anyone remember the old solitaire rpg gamebooks from the '80s? Zork, Fantasy Flight, Choose Your Own Adventure, etc.?

Anyone know if they are still being made? I'm looking for commercial titles to buy not the free kind like Risus.

There are full fledged adventures being re-done as well at www.darkcitygames.com

You can see a few of the here on the geek like Sewers of Redpoint and Little Black Book.

Cheers
Christopher

There are a large number of Tunnels & Trolls solitaire adventures that are still being published by fans.

Some of the low numbered line of Steve Jackson (not the same guy) and Ian Livingstone's Fighting Fantasy Gamebooks starting with #1 Warlock of Firetop Mountain was reprinted by Wizard Books out of the UK a couple of years ago. I actually saw them in my local B&N last year. They seem to have fallen off the radar again though. I picked up Creature of Havoc as that was my favorite of the series.

edit: here's the URL to Wizard Books' site: http://www.iconbooks.co.uk/wizard/wff.cfm

If he's not, I am.
Ian Livingstone went on to found Eidos (makers of the Tomb Raider computer games) and Steve Jackson went on to co-found Lionhead Studios (which made the 'god sim' Black & White).
