Working on making a board game which will have 8-10 characters, but I couldn't find any sites that show character boards. I am not looking for flimsy paper sheets, but sturdy semi-thick boards that would have my art printed on it. So I was wondering, are they called something else?

here is a reference to what I am referring to.

(My preference would be about that thickness, but the size of 2 of them put together)

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

"player boards"

Or just

"boards"

(that happen to be smaller than a full sized board)

Any idea where I can buy something like that? I am still not finding much of any options through my pal google.

Chipboard or Matboard is probably what you want. You will need to print on label stock, adhere to the board, then cut.

I've seen them referred to as:

Record Sheets
Large Adventurer Reference Cards
Investigator Sheets

I don't think I've ever seen them referred to as boards.

TGC calls them Mats - they aren't as thick as a token but they are heavier than paper: https://www.thegamecrafter.com/publish/products#mats

if you want something heaver then i'd recommend the matte-board idea that David mentioned.

+1

You can print a custom sized chipboard at printplaygames but if you've got crafting skills might be cheaper to DIY.
