Let us have a thread for those interested in designing their own 3d models for home brew. Post your links, advice articles, and resources that you have found helpful, or think others would find useful.

For one, I took out my micrometer and did some quick measurements of the pegs. They drawings are not to scale, but the measurements are sound. I don't know if the Large pegs are the same size as the medium as I don't have any large ships yet.



EDIT:

Fighter pegs: 0.091" / 2.32mm
Small Craft pegs: 0.0805" / 2.05mm

These numbers are peg diameter, NOT radius.

I'm pretty certain they are, since you can re-use the swhoosh stands between GSDs, VSDs, and ISDs.

Thanks for this FoAS! Can you get the measurements for squadron pegs as well?

She got to be my favorite model. Be carefull if useing ABS plastic as the engine fins can be fragile and snap were they are on the thin side.
