There are so many things about this story that make me laugh. This sounds like something that would happen in Super Trooper or something.

I was going to say, around here the Taco Trucks have been open since 5.30 am (if they closed). Perhaps those fellows should come to Texas, where tacos flow like water.

I flew back to San Antonio and landed at 11:59pm Christmas eve. By 1am Christmas morning I was feasting on tacos from Mamma Margies. I love San Antonio!

We had tacos two nights ago at my sister's place.
Her son asks, "Can I have taco-in-a-bag?"

What a strange request, I thought to myself.

She told him that she could pick up a bag of Doritos at the store for him, sure.

Now I'm even more confused.
Apparently, it's a thing:

First of all you get a bag of Doritos chips and cut one side open-- the long side, I'm told, is the preferred one.
Depending on the size of the one-bag serving, you may want to remove quite a few chips before continuing.
Next you throw cooked taco meat and cheese and lettuce/ tomatoes/ jalepenos/ salsa/ guac/ sour cream/ whatever in there on top, then fold the bag over and shake.

I've never seen my nephew so happy and satisfied at dinner.
We were all eating burritos/ soft tacos, and he's got his fork in his bag of chips; crunching away.

I can't say it made me want to try it, though.
