I went into Hobby Lobby the other day and they only had 1/35th scale WWII models. Amazon also has many of those.

Any ideas why the difference? Would those look horrid (as I suspect) or be acceptable for WWB?

HUGE difference!!! You are effectively doubling the size of your vehicles. The figures a 1/35 I think are around 54mm, far larger than 1/72. I would stick with 1/72 as it has a LOT of stuff out there in that scale and is far cheaper.....

Thanks to both of you. I found a bunch of 1/72 in a sale by the BT Group. (40% off right now). Hopefully they will be close enough.

1/72 are just perfect. Airfix uses 1/76 to match the H0 scale for rail models (Airfix is part of the Hornby train modeling group).
