Hello,

I'm having a hard time finding a good gaming table for a descent price. Gamechic tables are above my budget and boardgametables.com seem priced too high for what they offer. I don't have the skills/tools/tie to build my own.

Are there any other options out there?

Hoping there are some good sites that I haven't found. Wanting a table for 6 players that has a dropped felt area.

Thanks!

I'm also looking into gaming tables, but this one would double as a dining room table so it has to be pretty spiffy.

Since a lot of the cost is chairs, we are looking at finding chairs we like at a good price, and then having a table made to match at a local place we've had furniture made to match other sets we have.

Not sure what you can find online for good prices.

I got a custom (larger than default) table from boardgametables.com a few months ago and I could not be happier. The topper cover for it allows me to run a second game or let my kids have a massive Lego building area. It could be used as a dining table easy, but mine is in a game room so that's not needed for me, but the design and look of it is worthy of such use.

The quality and finish of the table can't be conveyed in pictures. Its so smooth, I catch myself and my wife just running our hands across it between turns, its that good.

Craigslist. Find a decent sized dining table for cheap and do some basic mods.

Yep, I'm working on finding a table right now through Craigslist... some are a little overpriced, but I'm sure I'll find one soon.

I have an dining room table like the IKEA BJURSTA Extendable Table. It's not remotely fancy, but it works really well and I haven't run into any space problems yet.

Carolina Game Tables look good (we had them on On Board Games a few episodes back) and they have a solid furniture background.

Do you know any woodworkers?
My Father and I are making a 4' by 6' Gaming/Dining Table for under $300.
He isn't charging for the labor.
I imagine though that you could have one made for under $1000, depending on what features you want.

I'm thinking having one made would be my best bet. I'll have to search around for a local woodworker. Thanks everyone for being so helpful!
