Suppose I have twelve apples. I give Sally three apples, then I give you two apples, then I give Peter two apples. How many apples will I have left?

Next, suppose that I have an arbitrary number of apples growing on a binary apple tree with n branches -- if each apple has a 1/p chance of having a worm of arbitrary length inside of it (where p is Rudy's Constant), what are the odds that Sally is cheating on Peter with his second cousin twice removed?

There are 10 types of people-- those who understand binary, and those who don't.

0%. It follows from the problem that Sally is cheating only with Edgar, who is not related to Peter. Peter has no idea, he's too busy checking his apples for worms.

Peter eats pumpkins. He had a wife but could't keep her.

I deeply regret not using the correct symbol "mb" for Rudy's Constant.

A man walks into a KFC.

He goes up to the bartender and asks for a chicken burger.

The bartender cannot give it to him.

The man asks again, now with more force.

The bartender reminds the man that this is not KFC, and is in fact a bar.

That's why there's a bartender.

The man is surprised, confused and disheartened, "So you, like, tend to the bar? I guess I'll take the chicken tenders instead."

You owe apples. As of now, 5 people have thumbed the thread, and you are giving each person who reads it two apples, so that's 10. You gave Sally three, and Peter two, so you are already in the hole by 3 apples.

And that's not taking into consideration all those who have read the thread WITHOUT thumbing!

The odds that Sally is cheating on Peter are inversely proportional to the arbitrary length of Peter's worm!
