With the help and blessing of Splotter, I've been working on a new product for the Geek Store that should be pretty darn cool for fans of FCM!

The set will contain two elements:

1) A card accordion that fits the box bottom, with icons of each card shown on the accordion to help with set-up.

2) Five sturdy dry erase boards of all the milestones, German on one side, English on the other.

Basically, it will be what I made for myself here, but in much better quality than my homemade one!

This set both shrinks the required table space to play the game significantly, while also being a much handier way to both reference and track reached and expired milestones. The price for this handy-dandiness looks like it'll come in at $12, but after playing with my own set for several games, it's totally worth it!

Due to Chinese New Year, the factory is currently on break, but I'll post production samples once I have them in hand! I've already approved the digital proofs, so we're probably about 3 months from the product being available in the store, but looking forward to making it available when it's ready!

Also, props to:

Really cool! I am too using an accordion to place cards in the box.
For milestones I pasted on my menus the milestone list published by chaddyboy, and I printed another copy of the same list to put on the table. All the milestones cards are in the box: when someone get a milestone, he takes the milestone card from the box and we put one token on the milestone list on the table, so everyone know the milestones no more available. It's all good, and much space is gained!

the card accordions that people came up with are pretty cool, I just cant work out how the Splotter guys didnt come up with a player board/cube (even better a dry erase system which theyve used before in R&B) for the milestones, it was obvious to anyone putting the game out on the table for the first time.

We have large playing tables . And we did trim down the number of cards...

These types of organizers are now normally done by third parties as it should be. The game is (too??) expensive as it is, and not everyone is going to want pay the extra cost for an organizer when they buy the game.

Makes sense. There are certainly advantages to the cards.

That is pretty outstanding. My friends copy has elevated accordion fold out for the cards, so that each tier of cards is higher than the previous, it makes it very easy to see. Is this something that would be possible?

You should probably at least credit the guy that came up with the accordion solution especially since this is BGG-official.

If you see how the sausage is made, you probably won't want the scraps from the packing room floor...
