There's no simple explanation for anything important any of us do, and yeah the human tragedy consists of the necessity of living with the consequences, under pressure, under pressure. -Courage (For Hugh Maclennan): The Tragically Hip

I started a GeekList asking this very question. I thought it'd be interesting to see what types of environments people would want to exist in.

So, what world would you like to occupy? Not necessarily your favourite game, though it could be, but the game who's world is most enticing to you.

I'm old fashioned in a lot of ways, so I think I'd enjoy living the simple life in Village.

What about you?

Firefly: The Game sounds like fun, or Star Wars: Rebellion fighting the evil Empire, chillin' with Wookies.

However, The Castles of Burgundy might be a better choice to avoid the chances of...being exploded or dying in the vacuum of space.

Have a great day everyone!

Monopoly. It would be great to live in a world where you're constantly out of money, everyone's a jerk to each other and no one can agree on the rules.

Also for real, Android might be kinda cool, dangerous yes, but who doesn't like Cyberpunk?

Otherwise, most game settings are typically fraught with peril. Not sure which I'd be willing to risk my neck in.

For once I have to not put Magic Realm.

Luna is fairly nice. Travelling by tidal wave. Worst thing in the world is talking to an apostate. I do that daily anyways. Even if I don't get enough poimts, still a nice place, and whoever gets to be high priest(ess) probably earned it (maybe some bribery). Also: books protect me.

Snakes and ladders would be a bit boring, but at least everyone eventually gets to the top.

Maybe pandemic on easiest setting. Easy to cure diseases and eradicate them completely. After that, travel anywhere in the world is a cinch.

Midnight Party would be ok. Eternal party, occasionally interrupteded by ghosts.

Funny that you asked this. I asked the exact same question of my friend a few months ago. If I recall correctly, she said Ticket to Ride, so she could see the country and all the great landscapes. My answer was Forbidden Island, because I like unexpected adventures, I like working together as a team, and I would choose to be the pilot because I want to be able to fly.
