I've now played this game 5 times with my girlfriend. We both like it a lot.
The multiple possible tactics make this a very intriguing game. In our hurry to start
up a game we initially mis-read the rules regarding the Pegasus card. Our initial
interpretation was as follows :
Pegasus has value 1.
If used to attack the opponents hand it can only attack Pandora or Argus/Io. If
it finds any other cards it is discarded and has no effect on the opponents hand.
This interpretation in effect means that :
1.) The hand bombardment tactic is not used as it is far less effective.
2.) The primary use of Pegasus is for scouting.
On our fifth game we re-read the rules correctly, but found the game less satisfactory
as the emphasis shifted away from tactics and towards luck. Using Pegasus against the
hand became the norm, taking much of the control of the game away from the player.
As a result we've decided to go back to our original interpretation. I know this may sound
like heresy to any games player, but the game feels so much better with the luch element reduced.
